100 Builders Match Fund

The 100 Builders Match Fund seeks open source projects at the frontier of AI and crypto. We believe in fostering a vibrant community of open source developers who are pushing the boundaries of these technologies. Our mission is to assist those who dare to take the big swings, transform the wildest ideas into kick-ass open source projects, and contribute to the ever-evolving AI and crypto ecosystems. Selected projects not only receive financial backing but are accepted into Backdrop's 100 Builders program, aimed at promoting innovation and pushing the boundaries of technology.

To be eligible for this match fund, builders must work on open source projects that leverage either AI or Crypto technology, or both. We welcome applications from anyone, regardless of their background, geographical location, or the stage of their project.

We're looking for projects with intriguing ideas that might even seem weird; this is not a place for the mundane. This fund is open to projects at the early stages, whether you have yet to write a single line of code or are in the process of gaining traction. We also welcome closed projects transitioning to open source.

While we don't put a premium on commercial viability, we do care about the ambition and potential impact of your project. We value builders who are ready to roll up their sleeves, ship their projects, and contribute significantly to the open source AI and Crypto ecosystems.
